Welcome to the Isle Of Bute Seasports Club

(incorporating the The Isle of Bute Sailing Club & Bute Coastal Rowing Club)

Just minutes from Rothesay centre, the Isle of Bute Seasports Club (IBSC) encourages, promotes and facilitates water sports for everyone on the Isle of Bute. Make new friends, learn new skills, and check out the stunning views of the Victorian paradise from a new perspective. The club runs regular social events and has a small bar for members and visitors. Sailing & Rowing takes place on Sunday afternoons.

Community
Our friendly community is comprised of people of all ages and experience levels. There’s something for everyone, whether you’re an aspiring, intermediate, or professional sailor.

Boats
First time on the water? No problem! Club boats are available for members to use, including sail dinghies and the 5 person rowing skiff.

Events
We have social events, racing events, and leisurely picnic outings in the summer. We also participate in the annual Regatta and Rothesay Raft Race.
